As the clock is striking midnight, I’d like to wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope that this year is joyous and prosperous for all. May all your wishes and dreams come true and may you be richly blessed.
I’m looking forward to 2011. I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for me….and for the family. I know that things are rough all over right now and we’re really not the exception to this. We just deal with it day to day as a family and we remember the things that we do have instead of what we don’t have or what we want. I believe that as long as we stay strong and positive, that everything will work out. I also know without a doubt, that God is watching over us and will provide whatever else we many need. He has blessed us so much and I pray that he continues to and that we NEVER forget it!! OYE…..another year older though!! HAHA
Blessed New Year to All,
I’d like to wish all my family, friends, blog readers and visitors a very HAPPY and BLESSED NEW YEAR!! I hope that 2010 brings you the best year ever. I’m sure it will bring many surprises and many expected events along with the struggles and joys of everyday life. I know I’m looking forward to each and every day and hope that you are too.
Yes, it’s that time of the year again. That time when people make resolutions of things that they’re going to do during the new year. Usually these things people do are supposed to better their lives. Instead of making resolutions that I never keep, I make goals.
These goals are things that I can usually do, like live my life the best I can and to its fullest. They’re not wasteful things that I should already be doing anyway. They’re not things that I’m going to break. Goals are obtainable. Goals are things that I can do. They’re also something that I can do over time and if I stumble, I can get back up and try again. I don’t feel as if I’m defeated if I don’t accomplish it in a certain amount of time and I definitely never fail. Failure isn’t a good way to feel at any point during the year!!
So what are my goals for 2009?? Well, for one, I plan to keep supporting Lean Green and help him be his best as he searches for a new job and we begin our adventure in this stage of our life. I aim to teach Miss K to the best of my ability and always let her know how beautiful and bright she is, no matter what. I want to continue to grow in my faith and pass that along to my students. Do I want to lose weight?? Of course, it’d be the best thing for my health, but I refuse to be down if the weight doesn’t come down!! I want to definitely devote just a tab bit more time to myself. Yes, there’s more, but there’s are the basics of my goals this year. All of them will help me grow and be the person that I should be.
So, as we say good-bye to 2008, what are your goals for 2009?? Do you prefer to have resolutions?? Let me know and don’t forget to vote in my poll on the top right of this page!!
