As many of you know, I’ve been considering opening a store to sell my printables in. This isn’t an easy decision for me. I had to put a lot of thought and prayer into it. I wanted to do what’s right for my friends, followers, and readers. I also have to do what’s best for my family.
My ultimate decision is to open a store to sell my printable materials in. I’ve opened an Etsy shop, and also a shop on Teachers Notebook.
I want to assure you that I’ll continue to post freebies on my blog and Facebook. I’m not trying to get rich, but merely help add some income to my family. Giving and sharing my printables is just what comes naturally to me. It’s what I truly love to do and will continue to do.
I hope that all of you will keep following me on this blog and on Facebook. It’s also my hope that you’ll check out my stops. I’ve tried to keep my prices down, so hopefully you’ll find something that you can use. I’d also appreciate it if you’d spread the word to anyone that you know that might be looking for educational or Christian printables for home or school.
Please check out my stores and be sure to follow them so you know when I upload new products, have sales, and so on!! You’ll also be able to access the shops at any time by clicking the buttons in my right hand column.

Remember, I fully plan on keeping this blog going. I’ll be posting freebies here as often as I can. I’m not on a schedule as it is, but they’ll be posted as often as possible. One of the only changes will be that some of the freebies I post will be available for a limited amount of time, but very few of them. Also, some of my older ones will be expired so that I can move them into my shops. But please know this will only be a few of them and all the rest will continue as usual!!
I don’t know if most of you know or not, but my mom is quite the crafter. She does crocheting and she makes beaded items and jewelry. She does other things like knits and sews, but not as often as the other stuff. Mom comes here every year in early December to participate in the craft sale on post. She always does very well. She also attends craft sales locally where she lives too, but it’s a much smaller area to try to sell at.
When Mom decided to retire, I suggested that she open an online store. She thought about it and decided it might be a good idea. I told her that I’d help her with it as much as I could. I definitely wanted to set it all up for her. After talking to people, I decided to direct Mom to Etsy. I told her I’d set it up and handle all the photography and shipping. She was responsible for the creating!! My goal was to have it open by the new year, but no later than the end of January. Well, I just made it!!
Mom’s store, Funky Folks Crafts, is now open at Etsy!! Just for my blog readers, we’re offering a 25% OFF coupon. Right now, there’s only about 10 items listed, but I’m adding more daily. Weather permitting, I’ll add more tomorrow. If you stop by and make a purchase, type in the code BLOG25OFF to receive your 25% off coupon during the check-out process.

If you do make a purchase, please keep in mind that we only ship on Tuesday and Friday. Right now, we have a winter storm moving through and there is the possibility that power will go out or that I won’t be able to leave the house for a few days to ship any purchases.
