Adam and Eve

Posted by on 11 September 2013

Today’s lesson in religion class is Adam and Eve.  I pretty much cover Creation fully, then I do Adam and Eve.  That’s where I’m at today.

I was totally blank for ideas, then all of a sudden I found an image on the internet and it spurred an idea in me.  The “craft” that we’ll be doing is a follow the direction.  Since my kids can’t read yet, I’ll give them the directions one at a time and we’ll move on after everyone has each one done.

First, you’ll need the Garden of Eden coloring page scene.  Next, you’ll need my page that has the directions, Adam, Eve, and an apple on it.  You can get that if you click here.  That’s it….the rest is in the directions!!

Here’s a thumbnail view of my page….

We’ll also be doing this and using an activity from this.  In addition, we’ll read the kids version of the story of Adam and Eve and I have a coloring/activity page printed out from the internet, but can’t remember the source as I’ve had it for a couple years now.

I’d love to hear what you think about this project and if you did it with your kiddos.  Please leave a comment below or use the “contact me” button in the right column.  I truly create by the input that I receive, so let me hear from you!!

Please click here to vote for my blog….thanks!!

So cute and educational too. I bet the kids will listen! 🙂

I’ve tried printing this several times, but it keeps asking for a password. Is this no longer available?

All that needs to be done is to download it from Box.com and save it to your computer. You’ll need the most recent version of Adobe Reader (X or higher) in able to access and print it. Also, if you’re on a Mac, you have to open in Adobe Reader and not in “preview”. Other than that, I’m sorry, but I’m unable to give technical advice.
