Miscellaneous Monday

Posted by on 25 April 2011

I just wanted to remind you that I’ve been nominated as one of the “Top 25 Homeschooling Blogs” at Circle of Moms.  I’d appreciate your vote by clicking the button above.  On my voting page, just click the orange thumbs-up button to vote. You can vote ONCE A DAY until 11 May 2011.

I have a variety of printables to share with you today, that’s why I’m calling it “Miscellaneous Monday”!! I hope that you can find something that you need or an use in this miscellany of printables!!

First up is 2 sets of puzzle cards.  The first is Froggy Catching Fly Count 0-25 Puzzle Cards.  These feature cute frogs attempting to catch 0-25 flies.  Match the number of flies to the number word.  Then there’s Froggy Colors, which has a wide variety of colors.  Use them all for older kids and the basics for smaller kids.  Both of these sets include a storage envelope for the pieces.  You can find them here.

For all you “The Little Mermaid” fans, I’ve got several things for you!!  There’s a The Little Mermaid Tic-Tac-Toe that has a pretty game board and several player tokens.  There’s also a storage envelope for all the pieces.  The Little Mermaid & Friends Shape Match are 2-piece puzzle cards.  Match Ariel’s shape to the shape words that her friends have.  For beginning writers, there’s The Little Mermaid’s Alphabet Tracing Cards.  Each card features a character from the movie along with tracing each letter in upper and lower case, 3 times.  The Little Mermaid’s Counting 0-20 Puzzle Cards have Ariel with the numeral, that number of her friends, and the number word all as pieces that fit to make a completed puzzle card.  There’s also a storage envelope with this one.  Finally, there’s The Little Mermaid’s Follow the Pattern.  These are pattern cards where there is a pattern, then it is followed below.  Also includes a storage envelope for all the pattern pieces.    You can find all these in “The Little Mermaid” folder.  **PLEASE NOTE:  The Little Mermaid character © Walt Disney – I in no way lay claim to ownership of the characters, graphics, movie, or anything else pertaining to “The Little Mermaid” or Walt Disney.**

For our spring weather, there’s Rain Gear Match-Up.  The pattern/texture is matched for the raincoat, boots, hat, and umbrella on the rain gear mat.  Lots of varieties of patterns/textures and also the rain gear.  For those that might still be experiencing cold weather, there’s also Winter Clothing Match-Up.  The coat, scarf, hat, and mittens with matching patterns/textures are placed on the winter mat.

Here’s a collage of just a few things I’m offering for Miscellaneous Monday, but remember this isn’t everything named above!!  So here’s your peak….

I think that’s about all for today!!  I warned you that it was quite the mix of things and very miscellaneous.  I hope that you and the kids enjoy them!!

As always, I’d appreciate it if you clicked on one….or all….of the buttons below to vote/rate my blog.  Also, your comments are greatly appreciated!!  By doing either or both of those things, it lets me know that my printables are being used and that I’m creating things that people need.  Therefore, I use it all as input and it helps me to be able to keep offering these items.  Thanks in advance!!

First, congratulations on the nomination—you can count on my vote! And bless you, bless you for sharing those great printables with your faithful readers. It’s always such a nice treat to get free ideas of what to do during my children’s ministry classes. I’m particularly excited about all of those great goodies in the Little Mermaid folder—what fun!
