We started homeschool on Monday and right away, I noticed that Miss K had lost interest in cursive writing and it was a bit “messy”. One of the benefits of homeschool is that we get to do activities that make things more fun and interesting to learn….or in this case, practice. So, I got right to work making some copywork pages.
This is the first time that I’ve ever made these. I’m pretty happy with the way that they turned out. I started off with Aesop’s Fables because they teach such a good lesson with each one. I had only intended to make 2 copywork books for this topic, but I got so into it, that there’s actually 6 of them.
There’s one for The Hare and the Tortoise and The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse. In addition to those, there’s 4 more cursive copywork books for Aesop’s Fables. Each book has 10 fables to practice cursive writing. In addition, I’m working on one more book that is all “long” fables that take a full page to write out. I expect to have it posted later this week.
I also plan to make more copywork books for Miss K on various other topics. If you’re interested, check back because I’ll post them when they’re ready!! In the meantime, enjoy these and please leave me a comment to let me know what you think about them.
