Up, Up, and Away

Posted by on 7 June 2010

Over the weekend, I held a “challenge” in my printables group.  We do these challenges generally every other Saturday.  Saturday is our “off day” and it’s in between themes.  By not doing it every week, it keeps the members interested and not burned out trying to find or create activities.

So this week in honor of the first hot-air balloon flight in 1783, I had our “challenge” be hot-air balloons.  I thought it would be fun and it would be easy for members to find information to share.  They could also make their own printables t share with us on this theme.

I made several items for the group members and shared them with them.  You can find all my hot-air balloon items here.  I really had fun with this one and hope that you all enjoy them as much as my group members did!!

Also last week I started feeling creative again.  I made a simple recycling game.  Players sort objects by paper, other, plastic, and metal.  I learned alot researching for this game.  It was also fun to make.  I hope that you and your kids learn from Recycle Sorter ffg (file folder game) and enjoy it!!
