Photography Contest: Texture

Posted by on 1 April 2010

It’s time for another homeschool photography contest!!  This time, the topic is “texture”.  Included below is the letter from the teacher on how to access the contest.  PLEASE be sure to e-mail your vote with the photo texture number to the e-mail address that’s included in the message….and there is a deadline.  Anything else won’t count as a vote!!

The Photography Class is having another contest and the subject is texture! It would be a big help if everyone would take a look and vote on the picture they like the best.

Use the drop down menu to choose TEXTURE and the password is: homeschool

Choose the picture you think is the best and e-mail your choice to: patty.patterson@sbcglobal.net  Put VOTE in the subject line. Please submit your votes by midnight, Tuesday, April 6th.

Thanks so much,
Patty

Remember, the photo should best represent “texture”.  Not how pretty it is or just because I tell you which one is Miss K’s!!  HAHA  Speaking of which, the picture that K submitted is “texture 6”, which is the chili peppers.  Didn’t she do a great job??  I love how she captured what they are and still got that dried up wrinkled texture!!  (Yes, proud momma as I see her constantly improving!!)
Now go out and vote!!

Those are great! The textures really come through. Loved the red one, and still don’t know what the object is!

My mind was in a strange place, though. I didn’t read see my prints. I read seemy prints, which isn’t spelled correctly for a word meaning sordid, but that’s what ran through my head. *eyeroll* haha.

Thank you!! I agree that all the kids did a really good job. It’s amazing what they can do when they try. I’m not at all sure what the red thing is either. I’m guessing that it’s some sort of mop or something like that!! I guess we’ll find out on Thursday when the results are given to the kids and how voting went.
