As I promised the other day, I’m going to post some of the Christian file folder games (ffg) that I’ve made. These all range in different age groups and could easily be adjusted for anyone. I hope that these will be a blessing to many that are in need of Christian or Bible related file folder games (ffg).
The first Christian ffg is Shipwrecked Paul and is for older players. Players will answer questions about Paul being shipwrecked and for each correct answer, they’ll receive a piece of the tangram puzzle. The first to complete the tangram puzzle is the winner.
Next is Wise King Solomon, which is complete with everything except for question cards. I’ve left that up to the individual for that. One could make questions on Proverbs or even King Solomon himself. There are tokens for correct answers as well as everything you’ll need to play the game.
The Donkey That Taught Balaam is not only a Christian based file folder game, but it’s educational as well. This ffg uses addends that all equal 10. For the first game board, the player will only find the missing addend, but on the second (or blank) game board, the player will find both addends. I’ve even made little number tokens to fill the blank in with or if the game is laminated, a dry erase marker could be used.
This next ffg is also educational and is for little ones. Pastor Bear’s Bible Odds and Evens will not only teach kids to count, but will also help them determine between odd and even numbers. This ffg has cute graphics!!
The final game that I’m going to share is one that I’m really proud of. The idea rather came to me and I ran with it. This one is for the 12 Apostles and is played much like “Sorry”. The name of this ffg is “The 12 Apostles Unite in Honor of The Last Supper”. Players draw cards to move their Apostle around the game board. The first player to get their Apostle to the Last Supper is the winner. Please be sure to get the ENTIRE game board, as this one is 4 pages in size. It’s big enough for all 12 Apostles!!
I also want to note that I’ll be updating my Christian Printables page and my Homeschool Printable page. I’m going to try to make it easier to access the links on those pages. Right now, I have each page of a file folder game as a separate link. I’m going to change it so that when you click on the link, it takes you to the folder and you can download each page from the folder in my 4Shared account, like you do when I post them in a post like this. This will take me quite awhile to update all this, so please be patient and check back often!!
As with all my file folder games, please be sure to download EVERY page. I can’t say it often enough, if you only download a couple of the pages, you aren’t getting the complete game and you won’t be able to use the materials the way they’re meant to be used. Even after I mentioned it in my last post, I can’t tell you how many of the items were downloaded at different rates. For one game, 1 page was downloaded 7 times, another 3 times, another 1 time, and other pages a various number. That just doesn’t make sense!! Please get ALL the pages so that you can use and play the way it’s meant to be!!
