Yesterday was our last religion class of the year. We’re now out for summer vacation. We always start just a little after school does and get out a little before they do. That way the mad rust at the beginning and ending of the school year doesn’t reflect into religious education. Anyway, I don’t need to write more on that. I already have a blog post, I just haven’t published it yet. I need to add a pic I took of all of us. On top of that yesterday….and I was dreading class ending. I love those kids!!
Hubby was involved in a fender bender yesterday on the way to work. He’s alright, thank God!! It was raining in the morning and someone pulled out in front of him from a turn lane so they could turn. He braked so he wouldn’t hit them, but someone rear-ended him instead. Nope, he never did hit the wide turn idiot either. He thought it was over and someone slammed into the back of the car that hit him. I guess they were asleep, because that shouldn’t have happened. His car has a little damage. The bumper has a dent in it and it slightly twisted. His brand new license plate is bent under. But, he’s alright and that’s all I care about!! He just kept telling me that it pays to drive a good old-fashioned piece of American steel!!
The Man is now in talks with the guy’s insurance company to see what’s going to happen. I’m sure this is going to be interesting!! UGH
I don’t know if I’m overtired or just have stomach bug, but I’ve felt like crap all day today. We all had like a stomach bug the other day, but I was fine immediately after that. Today though, I just dragged all day. Water sure does taste good though!! Actually, I’m not going to be up late tonight. As soon as I post this, I’m crawling in bed!!
The commander that died in the bicyle accident earlier that I blogged about will have a funeral on Monday. There’s still nothing on the local news or in the newspaper about it. We all really want to know what happened. All we know for certain is that he was on a bike and a van hit him. Nothing else!! Unfortunately, we won’t be able to attend the service on post because hubby starts working overtime next week and the service is in the middle of the afternoon. I won’t go alone because I didn’t know him well enough. I was just impressed by his respect for my husband when I did see him at the retirement party. It’s still so sad.
With that, I’m off to bed. I have to wake up ready to go tomorrow….errands to run!! Out….
