Tornado: Arkansas Town’s Devestation

My prayers go out to all the tornadoe victims of the past 2 days. The tornadoe in Arkansas is especially close to me because my parents live there. The town is destoryed. It’s just a small town of simple living folks. The factories have closed down and now even the shells of what used to be have been shredded by this storm. So many people with no place to go. The damage is just down the road from my parents. It was too close for comfort. God truly was looking after them and I get down on bended knee to thank him and thank him that more lives in that tiny town weren’t lost.

This video is just a small glimpse of what happened to this quiet little Arkansas town.

I was shocked to hear this afternoon so soon after this Arkansas tornadoe that Tennessee had been hit by a tornadoe as well.  This one hit during the daylight though.  There’s never a good tornado, but at least during the day, you can see what’s coming at you.  The one in Arkansas hit late at night.  My parents told me it was the largest hail they’d ever seen.  I was always told they sound like a freight train and practically everyone in town said the same thing.  The courthouse was hit, the school, the hospital has damage as well as the small college there.  Even the Wal-Mart wasn’t safe, but because they have generators, they are open.  Do they ever close??  HAHA  There’s no telling when power will come on for these people.  My parents are using a generator for the refrigerator and microwave.  They purchased water to drink.  Many are even without gas because there was a major leak after the storm hit.

Please pray for this town and it’s people as well as all these cities and towns that have been hit with disasters.  Is anyone listening??  God is giving a warning!!
