I Won’t be Fooled Again

Posted by on 1 April 2009

I actually had a pretty good day today.  We got all our classes done in good time and they all went off without a hitch.  We got the house cleaned and ready for my parents to get here tomorrow.  It was a great day!!

Then religion class happened!!  The class was loud.  I had to raise my voice to them.  UGH  And my own goddaughter got sent to the Directors office.  I put her in the corner.  I walked her out to the hall and talked to her.  She went WAY over the deep end.  I wasn’t getting a thing taught to the rest of the class, so I had to remove her.  It was my only choice.  I took her to the Directors office and asked her to deal with the child.  She asked my goddaughter what she did and the reply was “nothing” while she batted her eyes.  The Director looked down at her and said, “it must be something if Ms. Elaine brought you to me”.  I have NEVER took a child to the office since I started teaching religion 4 years ago.  When I got back, the catechist next to me could tell I was bothered and asked what happened.  I told her I took my own goddaughter to the office because I couldn’t deal with her.  She laughed!!  She said I can tell it bothers you, but it’s alright.  It wasn’t alright!!  She made me laugh though and the child was brought back just before class ended.  Her mom wanted to talk to me and poor grandma was embarrassed when she picked her up.  Of all the kids!!  Then I’m sitting around relaxing and my Director called to check on me.  She said, “Elaine, I knew it was bad if YOU brought me one”.  UGH  We laughed about it and she told me what a “pistol” this girl was just while she was in the office.  Did I mention she’s my goddaughter??  SHEESH

That was one heck of a joke, but I won’t be fooled again.  I’ll crack that butt the next time!!  HAHA  Then we’ll see who the joke is on!!

So, it was a joke? That’s not funny. I would let the little gal there is a time and place for jokes on April fool’s day. Hope you are cooled down and feeling better. Hope your goddaughter apologized

LOL Kids are stinkers. We’ve got about 3 kids who are bouncing off the walls every week. All in the same class….Thankfully it’s not mine. LOL
