Yes, it’s that time of the year again.  That time when people make resolutions of things that they’re going to do during the new year.  Usually these things people do are supposed to better their lives.  Instead of making resolutions that I never keep, I make goals.

These goals are things that I can usually do, like live my life the best I can and to its fullest.  They’re not wasteful things that I should already be doing anyway.  They’re not things that I’m going to break.  Goals are obtainable.  Goals are things that I can do.  They’re also something that I can do over time and if I stumble, I can get back up and try again.  I don’t feel as if I’m defeated if I don’t accomplish it in a certain amount of time and I definitely never fail.  Failure isn’t a good way to feel at any point during the year!!

So what are my goals for 2009??  Well, for one, I plan to keep supporting Lean Green and help him be his best as he searches for a new job and we begin our adventure in this stage of our life.  I aim to teach Miss K to the best of my ability and always let her know how beautiful and bright she is, no matter what.  I want to continue to grow in my faith and pass that along to my students.  Do I want to lose weight??  Of course, it’d be the best thing for my health, but I refuse to be down if the weight doesn’t come down!!  I want to definitely devote just a tab bit more time to myself.  Yes, there’s more, but there’s are the basics of my goals this year.  All of them will help me grow and be the person that I should be.

Coming 2008

So, as we say good-bye to 2008, what are your goals for 2009??  Do you prefer to have resolutions??  Let me know and don’t forget to vote in my poll on the top right of this page!!

Happy New Year to you and your family. This year I want to continue being me and then work on me! How does that sound!

Almost forgot! As to the poll…I said I don’t make resolutions. HOWEVER!! There’s a couple things up there I could work on. I’m not saying which ones, but a couple.

  4. Miss K

I kind of make simple resolutions, but sometimes I only do it for a week then I stop!
