Our Photos

Posted by on 29 December 2008

You’ll notice that I’m starting to remove photos off my blog.  The reason for this is because some BOY that comes to the blog decided to STEAL a picture of Miss K’s dog and set it as the background on his computer.  Now we know that this boy loves the dog and he doesn’t have one of his own.  However, we’ve had to tell him over and over the the dog is K’s and not his.  He can’t hover over the poor boy.  He certainly can’t STEAL photos of Big Boy off my blog to satisfy his need.  It’s not like he even asked for permission to get the photo or to put it on the desktop of his computer.  I don’t appreciate what he did at all.  No matter how he tries to explain it, it was STEALING, especially since he knows us.  He does/did have opportunity to ask for a picture or let us know that he wanted one or was going to use one.

Anyway, I’m going to have to watermark or copyright our photos.  If a kid is willing to take them, I’m sure someone else is willing also.  So, to that BOY, thanks for STEALING the pic of Big Boy.  I now know that I need more security.

I know just what you mean. For some reason, people do that. It’s scary to know that some photos end up in the wrong hands. I’m seriously considering doing the same thing.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU….my Wordful is posted, and I’m dreaming of flying high into the sky today. Hope you can come join me!

I am having to do the same! I have not had that happen to me yet but I heard that it is going on.

    Not good.

Hey, I have a link on my blog that you and your daughter might want to do. Miguel, my friend from Spain, is doing a little challenge. Dylan has completed his (a drawing) and I have completed mine. He is a former priest, well kinda, but he works with street children, etc. Really neat person. Anyway, I thought he might be a good contact since you homeschool and this will introduce you to someone across the world. Not many people are participating. I think it will be fun.

Happy New Year to you. I hope you are liking my blog a little better.

oops…I always read your blog backwards. I see your daughter is gone right now. Well, you do it. It will be fun. Probably the most daring thing I do all year. Ha…you can tell I get into a lot of trouble. ahahha

Anni, thanks for stopping by my blog. I’ll be sure to check yours out. Yes, it’s a shame that our photos aren’t safe. What’s worse is I know the boy. UGH!!

Tammy, she’s about half way through her visit right now. I’ll check him out and see what he’s got going on his blog. I’m getting used to your new blog, I just don’t read all the comments like I used to. The other one and your readers felt so homey and I don’t feel that now, but they seem to enjoy being there. I’m glad you’re all caught up with me now!! LOL

Oh oh! I don’t put pictures up because I’m afraid someone will hunt me down and steal my babies. Paranoid, yes. But it doesn’t bother me at all! Being paranoid, that is.
