Scattergories and 1930’s Wife

Posted by on 25 August 2008

I was over checking out Dawn’s blog.  She’s a fellow Okie, so I check on her when I can.  I’m browsing her posts when I see she has a blog titled “Scattergories”.  I have to check it out because that just so happens to be one of my most favorite games.  It’s similar to the real game.  I just have to play along, so here’s my Scattergories for the blog world.

Next, I have to post my results for the 1930’s Housewife Quiz.  A blog I read had it posted, then Laura posted it and I promised her that I’d share my results.  Now mind you, I never said I was a good wife.  I just say that I have a happy marriage and love my family.  Then again, despite these results, I must be doing something right!!  Without further ado, my 1930’s Marital Scale is:

As a 1930s wife, I am

Take the test!

I think it’s rather creepy that I got a 100 on the test.

  2. Elaine

I don’t know if it’s creepy!! LOL I’m just glad I’m at least average. Being as independent as I am, it’s actually quite surprising!!

  3. Tammy Warren

I scored average. I am shocked. I should be below average. Ha…

  4. Elaine

I want to do the Scattergories but I can’t think of a darn thing for anything. So I’m going to ponder it for awhile and probably end up googling half the stuff to come up with an answer. LOL I’ll post it after all my epiphanies.

Hi Elaine!! Thanks for playing Scattergories and for reading my blog! That makes me all giddy that people who don’t know me in real life read it!

I’ve never heard of an Edsel car before. It looks really cool. E was probably a hard letter to do!

You did great on the housewife quiz! I’m trying to get my husband to take the husband quiz! LOL

  7. Laura

You have received a award. Please come to my blog to get it. 🙂

Tammy, I’m actually surprised I scored as high as I did. I’m so independent and self-sufficient. I guess I’m lucky I got what I did!! LOL (And even did it honestly!! HAHA)

Elaine, I’ll be over soon to check out your score!! I’m sure it can’t be THAT bad….can it?? LOL

I hope you play, Debbie!! It’s one of my fave games and I had fun, in just such a simple thing. I actually didn’t have to look any up, but as I said, it’s one of my fave games!! LOL It was fun to find pics to add to it too!!

Dawn, I’m really glad that you posted the game. I can’t say often enough that it’s one of my faves. I saw it and didn’t think twice, I knew I had to try it!! “E” was a big of a challenge, but I ws able to think it out. An Edsel was a car ahead of it’s time. Let me know if you get hubby to do the quiz!! LOL
