She’s Coming Home!!

Posted by on 3 August 2008

I’m sorry if I’ve been slow to respond to comments.  I’ve been really busy this weekend.  It was “tax free” weekend, so I went out to get Miss K some clothes.  Plus, we had date night.  Then I got her room all ready for her.  All her new goodies are laid out on her bed.  I can’t wait to see her reaction!!

Yes, my baby girl is coming home!!  I have to go get her from grandma and grandpa, so I’ll be out of touch tomorrow.  I might not be too tired to post tomorrow night, but that will depend on the trip.

If I missed your comment, I’m sorry.  I get excited when it’s time for her to come home.  I was also finishing up some homeschool stuff.  I’ll check comments and get all caught up if I missed any of you.  Also, I haven’t even been out reading blogs.  If you normally hear from me and haven’t, I’ll get caught up as soon as I have my girl back.

Anyone miss Laura yet??  I hope she’s having a great cruise!!

YAY! You must be so excited!

We had tax free weekend also. I loaded up the kids and headed out for school supplies and extra clothes. It was great to save little money just to put back in the gas tank.

Sounds like you are really excited for your little girl to come home. In time, I plan to go through your old postings so I can get to know who you are better. I just wanted to say “Thank You” for visiting my website. I am glad that my website is helping your family and other families like with homeschooling. If I can help in anyway, send me an email, and I will be more than happy to help out. Take care.

You have to pay tax on clothing? Wow! We don’t have tax on clothing and food. Wanna move to Jersey? LOL Nice little surprise for K though. I was always excited at new clothes at that age. Welcome home K!!

I miss Laura too. But we still have each other! LOL

Bridgette, I’m very excited!! It was so god to get her back. She absolutely loves it out there, but she’s happy to be home too.

    Thanks for visiting my blog!!

Tammy, we never had “tax free weekend” until a few years ago. Texas always had it and the businesses got tired of everyone running down there to do their shopping. I’m so glad it’s local now!! Awesome deals!!

We pay tax on everything!! But no, I’m not moving to Jersey!! LOL

Normally, I’m not huge on buying school clothes. She gets them as she needs them. However, she’s grown like a weed and literally had no clothes. Then we pulled all the uniforms out of the closet and it was bare. So, I got her some church clothes and some homeschool clothes.

    YAY!! We have each other!!

Cassandra, I’m so glad that you came by to visit my blog. I found you quite by chance and was excited to know that we both search out educational freebies. We list many of the same pages for our freebies!!

I hope you enjoy my blog and check it out often. I’ll definitely be visiting you again!!

I am so jealous of states that do tax free weekends! California needs to jump on that bandwagon ASAP!

Oh Tena, I tell you what….the stores are crazy!! Here, they do it for 3 days. It’s usually on clothing and shoes. It saves money though, I can attest to that. If you spend $100, that saves you just over $8 (here). In these tight times, that adds up!!
