Blogging for Blood Cancer

Posted by on 28 July 2008

I ran across this banner on another blog, so I just had to check it out. I have to say that I’ve been blessed with the fact that my family has not had to endure cancer. That is, at least that any of us know of. However, in hubby’s family, it runs rampart on his mother’s side.

They ask that everyone post a banner or button on their blog. Then, during the “Blogging for Blood Cancer” week, you share a story, article or how you’ve been touched by this whether it’s in your life or something you read.

You can read about Friends of Heroes who is hosting this event.  They’re goal is to find a cure for blood cancer.  You can also go to Goodies for Mom to get your button or banner and “register” to participate in events.  You can also read about what others are saying about this first ever blogging event.

I only have one story, but I’ll share it during that week. It doesn’t cost anything and it just might make you or someone else feel good, so why not join in!?!?

Lois, thank you for coming by my blog and leaving a comment. I’m glad to help out in any way that I can. I think it’s a good cause and I’m looking forward to sharing the only story that I have, although it’s not much.

    Good luck on this endeavor!!

I’m happy to do it, Jenn. I’m hoping that others that read my blog and my friends will join in this cause. I know how worth while it is. I only have one story, but I’ll be happy to share that during the “Blogging for Blood Cancer” week.

Also, thank you for stopping by my blog.
