Nothin’ goin’ on

Posted by on 18 June 2008

I’ve been fairly quiet the past couple days because there’s just not really anything going on.  I believe I said when I started this blog, I’m pretty boring!!  HAHA

I’ve created about 3 games or so for my groups now.  It was time to be creative again!!  I think they turned out pretty good and I had plenty of extra help from K.  She did good too!!

Only 3 more days until this group of babies graduates.  Then only a 2 week cycle break.  Of that, the man will get a whopping 4 days of leave.  YAY!!  First day “off”, he has a meeting with the COL.  Too bad it’s not me!!  HEHE

Miss K will be selling lemonade at Family Day and possibly after graduation to the family members.  She was the lucky recipient of a Sunkist Lemonade Stand.  She can only ask for donations of a fair amount and anything she makes, she has to donate to a good cause.  I might have mentioned this earlier in my blogging.  Anyway, the organization that will benefit from this sale will be the USO (Til They All Come Home).  It’s a worthy cause.  They put my man up one time when he was sort of stranded waiting for a flight home from Korea.  I had just had surgery and was alone with about a 2 year old at the time.  They gave him a phone, food and a bed to rest in.

Thank you God for all the angels out there!!

I don’t have much more than that to discuss tonight, so, I’ll just leave it with that.

Night ya’ll!!

Oh! I’ve seen that Sunkist site. I thought about doing it for the Sunday school kids and the rummage sale. Never got around to it. How did she make out?

Your poor tired hubby. But there’s a light at the end of this tunnel, right?

If you ever get a chance, you should do it. You have to have a “cause” to donate the funds to though. If I remember correctly, it’s nothing personal like church. I think it has to be some sort of donation or fund type organization. Check on it though!!

    The light is getting brighter!!
